I just received a comment from a new victim and as this was the first I heard of MPH Engineering & co being aggressive and abusive in such a manner, I thought that this story should go in as a post for everyone visitng this site to see. They have threatened them with death and violence, the police are getting involved. I’m happy to use this blog as evidence of these thugs criminal behaviour, stuck in a loop hole, conning innocent people. When will the law step in and take control of the matter and finish them once and for all?

Paul Thatcher, who I had the unpleasant task of dealing with is listed
as a Director for Brentsouth Trading,9 Bays Farm Court, 480 Bath Road, West Drayton,BU7 0DY.
Please see below my experience with reconditioned engines.
Got an online quote 2 days ago from reconditioned-engines for £1495 to fully recondition an engine in my Vauxhall Vectra 2006 CDTI.It was driving but had bad oil leak and thought quote was reasonable and more reasonable than arranging fixing locally.Spoke to Gary who said they charge £200 to collect the car and collection was arranged for the next day.I have the tow vehicles reg no.Today hubby got a call asking for a further £500!Hubby refused saying they priced to do a full engine recondition and weren’t getting anything more than the £1495 and £200 agreed.Then followed lots of abusive calls.I decided to call to calm the waters as I wanted the car back and was prepared to pay the collection cost plus reasonable amount for ‘diagnosis’and was put through to Paul Thatcher.He,from the start,was extremely threatening,abusive.The usual,”I have been in prison and will slice your husband up!Use a shotgun on him!Cripple him for fxxxxing life blah blah blah.When I reminded him that he was acting very childish and very brave for a company that surround themselves with high fencing,he threatening to “blow my fxxxxing arms off!rape me and my daughter etc etc etc!!! He has said the bill is now £800 and growing every day and I will not get my car back.My daughter then called and was told the bill is now £977 and growing £10 a day and on 13 August the car will be scrapped.Trading Standards have been informed and have agreed to investigate.The police are paying me a vist and I do not intend to let this matter drop. Contact me on eil22hp64@aol.com and lets see what we can do to stop this happening to even more people.Oh and Mr brave Paul Thatcher was now in Marbella and I couldn’t possibly have been speaking to him on the phone!Ha is the another attempt to let me think gangland???Oh and he also said his member of staff has recently been released from a murder sentence.How totally pathetic.Should prove interesting as my call and my daughters call are fully recorded!Who will be sorry now?
Added 12 July 2010 – Police will be escorting me to collect my car tomorrow.They say that they have taken the engine out and it is now in the boot.The charge for us to have our car back is £977.This they will only take in cash. I am going to bombard the Inland Revenue, Customs and Excise, MPs, newspapers and anyone I can to get this company closed down. Oh and informed by the police that they are currently under investigation by the serious crime squad in London!Paul Thatcher is the real name of the Director/thug listed for Brentsouth Trading, his address is down as 9 Bays Farm Court,480 Bath Road, West Drayton UB7 0DY.

My daughter,her boyfriend and a recovery truck left Manchester at 6.30 this morning to go to Brentsouth Trading.We had arranged for a police man to escort them there and this he did.The police had gone in there yesterday and were given our invoice,the same invoice that was supposed to have been sent to us recorded delivery, we have still not received it.They told him that they wanted £977 and for it to be paid only in cash!On arrival they were greeted by a spotty,extremely arrogant lad of about 19 years old! Is this Oliver?Am sure it isn’t Paul Thatcher as he sounds 30ish/40ish.They also dealt with a nice guy at the counter.My daughter asked to see the invoice,the spotty lad refused saying pay up first,but the nice guy got it for her.She asked to see her car,again acned guy refused but the nice guy told him to let her in.The engine was now in bits in the boot and across the back seats of the car! She asked for the recorded delivery receipt,they couldn’t find it and reluctantly deducted the £30 charge for this off her bill.The car is now on the way back to Manchester. We were reluctant to take it home, because it might not be worth it financially.However we couldn’t be sure that if we left it there our debt to them would have kept growing.
We only received help from the Police because of the threats they made.Do not want to lead you people who have been conned by these cowboys,but if you should have a conversation with them that becomes threatening, as I am sure it will if you get put through to Paul Thatcher,then report it to the Police. You will get a crime number.Liase with them about collecting your car and say that you are afraid to go on your own, then hopefully you will be escorted.You will still have to pay out but they can’t be too corrupt with you with a policeman as a witness?

We have now found out that the engine that was left in our boot is not out of our car! Have told the Police that this should now be classed as a theft or possibly fraud case.Am waiting to hear from them.

They are bad people, do not use them – take them to court: Paul, Martin, Harry Dockwil (pimple face pussy boy) they are three partners. Mr Paul Dockwel lives in Guildford, Surrey, (Martin & Harry his son) and Mr Mick Rowen lives in Isleworth near West London College, Mr Karnail Bhullar lives in Camberley, they are all CROOKS. Hide yourself – as though you’re not part of them, why the hell would anyone be a fan if you’re not benefiting from it in any way? I don’t believe what your saying – and if you’re a fan of 22 years, then I’d say you’re in the circle.
Life is too short to go and choose to waste it on drugs and stealing from others. I bet you don’t have many real true friends and those that do, probably have to stick by you because their family. It takes more energy to be cruel and nasty then to live a life of real purpose and positivity. I feel sorry for you people – you don’t know what real life is about.
I’m sure spotty face had no real choice and was born into a family where his father is a criminal and only teaches him how to steal from others to get on in life. if you don’t mind me asking what is your prob with the company have you had any dealings with them.
It seems you have alot of hate towards brentsouth you have to take into account there are happy customers aswel each case is differant and might have gone over on time or price but this is not a every day thing
If you put 100 tv’s into curreys to be fixed 15-20 of these will get bad news not cost effecteve or will cost more then they expected and curreys will also charge for diagnoses on that tv so what’s the differance.
All you here is the ones that didn’t quote the customer happy you carnt do that all the time but alot are happy including Sussex police who have been having replacement engines from there for a few years now .
All the surcharges are clearly on the website and it also states on the timescale can over run
10-15 engines a day roll out of them doors some in cars’. some shipped round the world that’s around 70 a week the biggest in Europe I would say and how many bad posts if you count every forum there is around 20 differant complaints.
Going round in circles as for the vat fraud I don’t even know those people and that was 16 years ago
That goes to show people try to dig up anything thay can.
Why didn’t thay do the same digging in the t & c all is clear there no digging needed all that has happend to these posters here is clearly on the web site that it could happen & when it dose this happens ??

I am going to get right to the facts…….
MPH & Brentsouth are the same crooks using reconditoed-engines.co.uk to rob trusting customers. I am one of those robbed off over £2300 for a reconditioning job that left my car accident damaged by the garage and the engine in not working to basic specifications. I have given this garage 2 chance to get it right but they failed lied dragged it out for over 2 months and damaged my car.
I am persuing this in the courts and I will not rest until the Lord deliveres justice for me and all the innocent customers.
I curse Brentsouth Trading and MPH Engineering, that they will not be ripping off people for no more that 6 months, the business wil go bust, they will payout all county court judgements against them and all the guilty employees and owners shall suffer the wrath of the Lord GOD.

I have a County Court Judgement against Brentsouth Trading Ltd, for £1600+ only to find they are now Liquidating. I won a county court judgemet against Brentsouth trading and yes they are liquidating and I spoe to Bond partners they said there are no assets declared by Brentsouth so we will get nothing…………
We must take this to watch dog and trading standards and OFT….
We need to find people who have won claims against MPH Engineering for I believe that is where all our monies are being kept in. One of the employees said to me that Brentsouth is the Trading name but all the money goes to MPH… So we need to link the 2 companies and then go to court and ask the judge to enforce our judgements against both Brentsouth and MPH, as well as Engine Centre for they are all one company……

its now April 2012 and they are still operating under reconditioned-engines or engine.sales and they are still robbing people, I fell for their patter in March, i lost my car and £3500, I’ve tried for weeks to get in touch with them and no one answers phones, you need to fill in the engine search as if your looking for a really expensive part or engine… then surprise… you get a call shit hot but listen to their salles patter now when you know what they are all about, god it makes you mad cause they try desperately to arrange a pick up of your super duper high preformance car but when you say i need my other car back off you first and i need to see if youve done a good job before you put your high preformance car in for a recon…. thats when they stat stuttering,
